Prof. Dr. Nil Kula, DEHUKAM Board Member, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ali İbrahim Akkutay, DEHUKAM Senior Researcher, and Emre Önsöz, DEHUKAM Researcher, attended the 2024 Ordinary Meeting of the Navigation, Hydrography, and Oceanography Services Planning and Coordination Board, hosted by Recep Tayyip Erdoğan University in Rize on May 13-14, 2024.

During the meeting, a recommendation was made to assign DEHUKAM for coordination at the International Marine Sciences Conference planned for 2027. Additionally, it was recommended that all public institutions and organizations seek opinions from DEHUKAM on matters related to sea and maritime law. We hope these decisions will be beneficial to the marine sciences community.
