Blue Economy and Marine Spatial Planning Training Program Was Concluded

Blue Economy and Marine Spatial Planning Training Program organized within the scope of the “Project for Capacity Development in Marine Environment Law Within the Framework of the Barcelona Convention and Other International Documents” was held at Holiday Inn Çukurambar Ankara Hotel between 6-8 March 2024. Within the scope of the training program, lectures were held on blue economy, marine protected areas, integrated coastal zone planning; examining the concept of marine spatial planning in terms of various dimensions such as areas beyond national jurisdiction, the needs of the country, sectors and ecosystem-based approach.
On the last day of the program, participants from different institutions and organizations discussed Türkiye’s Marine Spatial Planning Roadmap, moderated by Dr. Devrim Tezcan. The Blue Economy and Marine Spatial Planning Training Program was concluded with the closing speech of DEHUKAM CEO Mustafa Başkara.
