The 13th “Annual Postgraduate Research Conference on Maritime Law and Policy”, organized by London Universities Maritime Law and Policy Group, was held in London on April 21, 2023. DEHUKAM volunteer researcher and the City University of London PhD student Mr Mustafa Yılmaz was the coordinator of the Conference, and DEHUKAM researcher and Ankara University PhD student Ms Zeynep Damla Işık presented her paper on “The Carriage of Livestock by Sea: A Call for an International Legal Action”, Mr İsmail Yılmaz Kan, researcher and PhD student at Northumbria University presented his paper on “The Future of Punitive Damage Against Fraudulent Claims in Marine Insurance Law: Can English Law Expand its Limitations?” and DEHUKAM volunteer researcher Mr Mustafa Yılmaz presented his paper on “Reconceptualizing the Channalling of Liability in Emerging Technologies in Shipping”.
